Patrick Ayanski came to Nigeria as a UK millinery company called Milliner Warehouse in the mid-2000s and began the process of market penetration. In the beginning, the business was unexpectedly slow and it became painfully obvious over time that there was a very low demand for millinery items in the market, however, during the process of conducting market research, a glaring gap came to light. Top designers of the era were lambasting the quality of zips available in the market and lamenting on the headaches that this need was causing them.
Into the fray stepped Patrick Ayanski who introduced Cremalleras Rubi zips to the Nigerian market. With their line of high quality reliable and dependable zips, it took little to no time before the creme de la creme designers of the day such as Lanre Dasilva Ajayi, Tiffany Amber, Lisa Folawiyo, ODEVA, Jewel by Lisa, Odio Mimonet and much more came calling and became regular customers. The power of word-of-mouth took hold and today we stand our ground in the market as retailers of loose crystals, zips, motif sheets while also acting as a distributor for Ayanski Fabrics.
Patrick Ayanski opened its doors to the Nigerian market in October 2006 with Rubi zips and Trimmings as its first major products. It launched Blings by Patrick Ayanski in 2010, then Ayanski Fabrics Limited UK in 2013 and then Aso-Oke by Ayanski in 2016.
My Ayanski was rolled out in the year 2020 with an eye to serving those customers who were not just interested in the fabrics but preferred something they could buy today and wear tonight. My Ayanski's product line includes kimono's and kaftans made from silk and chiffon, which also come with or without embellishments.
